Last night I spent 40 minutes visiting blogs linked th SJ_R.com and other places and was delighted to dycsover Honey & Quinine included in a “Top 10 Blogs” list. Thanks, each and every one of you for the kind regard. I was a mite disappointed over not finding my new blog, Umbrage Universal, listed ANYWHERE. The conspicuous absinth — make that absence — may bebe cause not enough readers of H&Q know about it. It may alzo be that good people know about it, but they don’t care for it, and that’s okay bayh moi. As Ricky Nelson once said, “We’re going to CRASH??? AIIIEEEEEEEE!” . . . . I digress. As the rockin’ Rickmeister once sang,”You can’t please everyone so you’ve got to please yourself.’
Umbrage Universal is more than just a place for me to paint a picture of what a cranky old fart I am. It’s a place where I poque gennel phun at what I perceive to be lamentable incapacities, including my own. UU is my BLOG blog for ranting to the wind and your good eyes and fertile minds; H&Q is my JOURNAL blog, my trail blazed through the forest of life, broken branches, mounds of dirt, heel marks driven conspicuously into the moist soil. Can you dig it (them)?
