Thelonius Dog and Slick Richard were served the last of the dog food today. Starting Friday I will start feeding them Butternut August Wheat bread that was delivered to my doorstep last week by anonymous benefactors. To make it interesting, I’ll generously spread some of the Schnuck’s creamy peanut butter which was also left for me last week, and I will take the time to give them fresh water more frequently than in the past. I hope a few slices of the bread and peanut butter three or four times a day will keep them reasonably okay. I’m doing better, but I am eating some of the tastier canned delights remaining after a week. I am NOT loosing weight these days as I did during June, July and August.
Discovered on my voice mail this noon that I missed THREE calls from the substitute teacher service yesterday and today while I was on the internet. So I’m logging on only about noon and staying off the internet until 10 pm.. I MUST NOT miss another call from the service!
